Dr. Bansal is a quadruple board-certified (Neuro-Endovascular Surgery, Neuro-Critical Care, Vascular Neurology, Neurology) physician. His specializations include Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology (Neuro-Endovascular Surgery), Stroke/Vascular Neurology, Neuro-Critical Care and General Neurology.
He serves as the Director of Neurosciences and System-Wide Stroke Director for multiple Stroke Centers including a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Primary Stroke Center. Dr. Bansal is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Bansal is the Principal Investigator for multiple NIH trials related to Stroke and Neuro-Endovascular Surgery and he has authored multiple book chapters and peer-reviewed articles.
In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Bansal has a JD with emphasis in Healthcare. Given Dr. Bansal's unique credentials, he has provided his expertise for multiple cases reviews, malpractice suits and criminal cases.
